CODI Peruvian Fiona

All of Fiona's ancestors come from the remote
area of Lagunillas in Peru - all are dark and
all are very fine for dark animals! Her dam's
fleece was 17.3 microns and her grand dam's fleece
was 18 microns at time of import. Her sire's tui
fleece stats were equally impressive at 18 microns,
17.8 CV and 0.5% >30. Since importation both
her sire Black
Traditions, and dam Florentina, have distinguished
themselves for their production. One of our top
young Peruvian Heritage show males, Windstorm,
is a Florentina grandson. Black Traditions is
assembling an impressive group of dark progeny,
with his strong black genetics converting many
of his "criations" from lighter colored
dams to black. If you are looking for black, fine-
fleeced outcross genetics you can breed to any
male, Fiona is sure to look fabulous!
